Artificial Intelligence use policy

The use of generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools for the development of contents in any of the manuscript sections must be declared in the materials and methods section of the manuscript. The program used, including the ways in which and the extent to which of its use, must be indicated.

It is the author’(s) responsibility to verify the validity and accuracy of the information generated through the use of generative AI, as well as the lack of bias. The author(s) should also give intellectual authorship credit to the published knowledge (regarding the sources consulted by AI).

The following actions are not authorized for the use of AI in the submitted manuscripts:

• Give authorship or co-authorship in the work to AI.
• Design or modification of images contained in the document.
