No financial charges

Ciencia UAT does not charge authors for the editorial process related to article publication, this includes the absence of article publication fee and article processing charge (APC) which covers scientific review, editing, proofreading and typesetting. Additionally, there are no economic charges for receiving, reviewing and publishing original applied and basic scientific research, mainly focused on Ibero-American issues. There is no charge for readers or subscribers.

This no-fee publication policy adheres to the Budapest Open Access Initiative (Budapest Open Access Initiative, BOAI).

The journal is published under a CC BY NC SA license (Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 Creative Commons License), which enables contributors to retain their moral and authorship rights. At the same time, it is possible to use the material to create another work or content, with or without modification of the original work, as long as the author is cited, the resulting work is shared under the same type of license, and it is not used for commercial purposes.
