Abstract

This work present some results that they explore and analyze how during the Mexican Revolution, some women of Tamaulipas lived through forms of masculine domination, at the same time as they questioned and redefined the meanings of being a man. Since sources of information are in use the testimonies of some women compiled by academicians and local writers, testimonies that are checked across a procedure based on the analysis of the historical and cultural experiences of the women who lived through the movement armed in the region.
